If you look back at the milestones of attorney Ashlyn Moore’s life, all signs pointed toward a career in family law. With her passion for children, family ties, advocacy for victims of domestic violence and experience helping veterans navigate the legal system, Ashlyn is an energetic young attorney who fights tirelessly for her clients. Whether they need their hand to hold or an attorney who minds every detail, clients can rely on Ashlyn to provide the support and guidance they need.
According to attorney Justin Sisemore, founder of the Sisemore Law Firm, “During her internship here, Ashlyn worked closely with multiple attorneys on real cases. That hands-on experience gave her a head start most new lawyers don’t get. In court, Ashlyn’s thorough preparation and clear arguments deliver results. Outside the courtroom, Ashlyn truly shines; managing clients with exceptional organization, compassion and a calm, soft-spoken style that builds trust fast. Ashlyn proves that early, broad experience builds exceptional attorneys. We’re proud to have her on the team.”
Ashlyn Moore was born and raised in Flower Mound, Texas, and she loves her hometown to this day. She has always enjoyed spending time with children, both as a nanny and summer camp counselor during her teens and undergrad years. Ashlyn’s father Michael has also been an inspiration to her. He works as an attorney for the Denton County D.A.’s Office, and also served as the Chief of Felony Division when Ashlyn was a child.
“He always articulated to me the importance of having a service-minded attitude and the many ways we can help people as attorneys,” Ashlyn says. While becoming a lawyer was always in her sights, Ashlyn’s social work internships (human trafficking and domestic violence non-profits) while at Texas Christian University helped cement that decision. Says Ashlyn, “Those experiences taught me how to establish trusting relationships, engaging fully with all clients, no matter their background, as I help them navigate situations that are stressful and unknown.”
After receiving her B.S. in political science and social work from TCU, Ashlyn remained in Fort Worth to pursue her Juris Doctor degree at Texas A&M University School of Law. During that time, she worked as a legal intern for the Sisemore Law Firm. Ashlyn earned her J.D. and passed the Texas Bar exam in 2025, joining our firm as a full-time attorney in the fall of 2025.
When Ashlyn isn’t practicing law, she loves spending time with her family, fiancé Kirkland and rescue dog Stella—her pride and joy. Comfortable in the kitchen from an early age, Ashlyn enjoys trying out new recipes. You’ll also find Ashlyn cheering on the Horn Frogs at TCU games and attending concerts throughout the year.
